The words I spoke flowed freely,
Like the rivers bleeding into the crystal clear springs.
"I love you" never sat on the tip of my tongue,
It always parted my lips without hesitation.
It was never a pretentious feelings,
It's what I felt in my heart,
Even when my mind was screaming run.
When I was at the beach,
I wrote your name in the sand.
And I tried to build the sand castles past where the waves would break,
But no matter where I went, the water would come and wash it away.
